We go to skeleton crew December 24 z January 2nd. We give them this PTO as a thank you for the year.

This year I am just giving them the day off with pay. While I lose a couple of days of paid productivity, it times past that half day did not accomplish much any way. So, it sweetens the benefit package a bit. What is common amongst employers these days?
