In the past, I would cut people loose mid day on xmas eve and new years eve with full pay for the day.
This year I am just giving them the day off with pay. While I lose a couple of days of paid productivity, it times past that half day did not accomplish much any way. So, it sweetens the benefit package a bit. What is common amongst employers these days?
