We were in Nice about a year ago. One of the favorite things my wife and
I did was take the train to Tende, have lunch there, and then come back.
Scenic views, and some rather interesting track to climb up through the
Alps. I also enjoyed just walking around Monaco and a few of the other
"towns" on the coast. We also ended up at a couple museums including the
Picasso museum in Antibes.

I hope to get back into that area sometime when it's warmer so I can tour
the Verdon area which apparently is really pretty as well, but not really
the best place to drive in November.
