Hi, You can omit the ad group level default bids if you wish, but they will be automatically set to a default value when the first criteria is added. If a criteria level bid is present then it will always be used in place of the ad group level default bid. Only the keywordMaxCpc field is used in the SEARCH_NETWORK.
