Yes, we are moving the existing power connections and yes they have been checked for compatibility. We are getting some kind of frame interconnection feature that lets us connect the power to the L frame and it daisy-chains to "an adjacent D-frame" that will hold the rest of the drives (we have 17-drives to move from the 3494). All frames are going to be D-since management refused to entertain the idea of the high-capacity, 4-tier deep stacking of the S-frame.
