I think you can try to use command "export node <Oracle node> filespace = <database filespace> ...." to tape volumes and than IMPORT NODE to TSM Server from moved tapes. It can be restored to node with the same name, connected to new TSM server.

I mean I have to backup the data from a TDP for Oracle client on a TSM environment and restore it on a completely different TSM environment......another TSM Client on another TSM Server on another company........there is no connection between them whatsoever. I know I can do this using backupset......but I´m not sure backupset works with data copied using TDP for Oracle. What do you mean "restore ..... on another TSM Server"? Grigori G. I thought of using BACKUPSET, but it seems that the backupset command uses only backup copies made by the BA Client.... Thanks Mario Please consider the environment before printing this Email.
