Remco - That truss output clearly shows that the client is looking in the wrong place for the messages catalog. I would check your environment variables: the evidence superficially suggests that DSM_DIR is set to "/en_US", or something to that effect. (As an experiment, you could try setting DSM_DIR to try to direct the client to the right place, and see what effect that has.) Or there may be an errant symbolic link in your /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/en_US/ directory. Have a good look around the client directories for anomalies, particularly as you also had similar problems with the straight B/A client. Assure that the LANG setting is accurate in content and case.
