If you used the Wizard to setup these services it doesn't quite do it correctly (APAR= IC32620 ANS0299E SCHEDULE WIZARD SETS SCHEDULE SERVICE TO AUTOMATIC START-UP IN CAD MANAGED CONFIGURATION APAR= IC32752 SER=WIZARD AUTOMATIC STARTUP CAD MANAGED SCHEDULER SHOULD START CAD AFTER THE WIZARD CONFIGURATION)
Check that the services are set as follows: Schedule Service should be set to manual startup CAD (Acceptor) Service - should be set to Automatic and started. Now with this configuration you will still get the following errors in the Event Log after a reboot: 1:36:49 PM Event ID - 4099. Scheduler Terminated, service ending. 1:36:49 PM Event ID - 4099. Scheduler exited unexpectedly with a result code of 0. I've reported these to Tivoli - but no APAR yet on them.
