The literature from Spectrum about directory-container/container-copy storage
pools
is rife with references to "REPAIR". What gives?

I have always trusted and have gotten away by restoring server down environments
with tape pool recovery, and never had to give a thought to repairing the
storage pools.
What am I missing?, are containers inherently corrupt?

I just brought 6.3.3 system to 7.1.7(by the way, IBM, great work in the upgrade
process)
so I am just beginning to investigate container storage pools to eliminate the
ProtecTier VTLs
