The work of Geoff and everyone inside and outside of Bell Labs who have contributed over the years is greatly appreciated. Obviously, none of us would be here talking about Plan 9 without their contributions. It's because of their hard work that we have a base from which to launch our experiments.
The article linked above is an example of poor journalism, complete with misquotes and fabricated quotes. I made the unfortunate mistake of entertaining the author's queries and inviting him to our IRC channel. I take full responsibility for the misunderstandings, though I wonder why we're all so credulous when it comes to articles on websites. 9front exists to have fun and learn by working with the system.
