no. in fact, now that i have a bit more experience with this and reloaded the whole 2gb onto a usb hard drive, it appears that it's device specific. which got me thinking. perhaps this sd card (different mfgr from the rest) causes problems. is there a way that usb could recover automaticly from this sort of situation? - erik
