Hello all, Is there any sort of a "Global Hot Spare" feature in ZFS, i.e. that one sufficiently-sized spare HDD would automatically be pulled into any faulted pool on the system?
So far I saw adding hot spares dedicated to a certain pool. And perhaps scripts to detach-attach hotspares between pools when bad things happen - but that takes some latency (parsing logs or cronjobs with "zpool status" output - if that does not hang on problems, etc.) Are there any kernel-side implementations?
