This probably the best answer right now. It will be even better when they get a web administration GUI running. Some variant of freenas on freebsd is also possible. Opensolaris is missing a good opportunity to expand its user base on two fronts. 1. It's *hard* to figure out what motherboards will just work, and what will have problems. 2. There's not a better-packaged solution to this particular question.
