It's your data, and you are responsible for it. So this thread, if nothing else, allows you to make a informed decision.
I think that where most other file systems don't detect or ignore the corner cases that have always existed (cf. CERN's data integrity study), ZFS brings them to light. To some extent it's a matter updating some of the available tools so that ZFS can recover some of these cases in a more graceful fashion.
It should also be noted though, that nobody notices when things go right. :) There are people who have been running ZFS on humongous pools for a while. It's just that we always have the worst-case scenarios showing up on the list. :)
