There's not much info on that bug page, and I certainly don't recall seeing the blown assertion message. Is it possible, nonetheless, that this is the cause of some of my problems? I will Live Upgrade ASAP. (It can't be the sole cause. There has definitely been a hardware problem: when one of the SATA drives didn't show up, even the BIOS couldn't see it. However, that [i]could[/i] have been just a loose SATA data cable.)
