Agreed.

A couple of questions:
- Do you think that zfs (and other subsystems) should use the ISO8601 time
formatting standards?

- I've been writing a lot more scripts in python for about a year now.
The resulting scripts are easy to read/maintain and runtime performance is
not an issue.  Well written python is portable and re-usable.  Are others
writing scripts in other than ksh/csh these days?
