Public bug reported: When running Neutron OVS agent in containerized environments (Kubernetes), there is no reliable way (probes) to determine when the agent has fully synchronized its flows and port configurations with Open vSwitch.
Proposed solution is to add a simple file-based tracking mechanism that monitors OVS agent's synchronization status (started/ready/dead states) so it (file content) could be used by (liveness/readiness/startup) probes to determine when the agent has completed its initialization and is ready to handle network traffic. ** Affects: neutron Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: rfe ** Tags added: rfe -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Yahoo!
