Project switching gets stuck in firefox

Bug description:
Openstack doesn't log me out in firefox browser.
I use cache based session-engine
Firefox logs me out intially, but after navigating it
redirects me to the admin page. This doesn't happen with Chrome
The project switcher gets stuck as well in firefox
