Sorry but XMLmind XML Editor v6 which is seven years old is no longer
supported. Current version is v9.5.
Please try to reproduce the issue with latest version and if the issue
is still there, please send us a sample document letting us reproduce
the issue here at XMLmind Software.
--> However I would strongly recommend to first report the issue to the
person who has developed the custom CSS stylesheet (generating "form
controls" for some attributes;

depicted in your screenshot.
May be this person simply forgot to update the CSS stylesheet after you
changed the XML schema.

Hi!
I am a co-op student currently using XMLMind. I recently changed the XML
schema for a document to add compatibility for a new element with
attributes. While the old element attributes have a dropdown menu, the
new element I added to the schema does not. The new element name shows
up, and the attributes can be edited in the attribute pane on the right
side. Yet, the attribute themselves are not visible in the main
document. Is this normal behaviour? I am trying to find out whether the
dropdown menu is caused by an add-on or whether it is a default feature
of XMLmind.
Here, “status” is an attribute of the “reg_bit” element. There is a
drop-down menu of enumerated options. “Bit_features” is the newly added
element (it is an empty element with multiple attributes). As can be
seen, there is no dropdown menu associated with this new element.
Despite not showing up in the main document, the attributes of the “bit
features” element can be edited using the attribute pane on the right:
I am using XMLMind 6.0.0, if that is relevant.
If it will be greatly appreciated if you could point me to a right
direction. Thanks in advance!
