And thanks for the follow-up - anything that relies on internet access is going 
to be problematic here, given an IT dept. attitude "lock out by default" :-} As 
far as I can remember, I can always access the XXE Webhelp from the XXE site; 
it's just the link from XXE itself that fails. Next time I run into the 
problem, I'll raise an in-house ticket ...

Strangely enough, the same symptoms happened to me yesterday evening.
The cause was my internet connection which went down. Once my internet
connection was back, the online help system worked just fine.

This is a bug because XXE is supposed to be fully functional even
without an internet connection. However we are not sure to be able to
fix it because the online help system leverages the WebKit web browser
component which is part of JavaFX/Java 8+.
