First of all, please make sure that you are actually allowed to use
Personal Edition in the context of your organization:
"XMLmind DITA Editor Personal Edition License Agreement",
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/license_xde_perso.html

not Licensee's sole property, except in any of the following conditions:

Please do not hesitate to ask us the question if you are unsure of that.
Now, that our organization, is planning to move away from word because
of its many constraints, I am planning to recommend XMLMind DITA Editor.
Then you may also be interested in:
"XMLmind Word To XML", http://www.xmlmind.com/w2x/
which has a special edition which comes in the form of an add-on with
XMLmind *XML* Editor *Professional* Edition and this, at no additional
costs.
But, when I went through the website, I found the installation
Instructions of
* XMLmind DITA Editor Personal Edition and XMLmind XML Editor Personal
Edition on Windows, pointing to the same page
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/installing_xxe.html#install_windows.
Is this right? Kindly clarify and let me know.
Yes, there is no mistake here.
XMLmind DITA Editor and XMLmind XML Editor are technically *identical*
*programs*. Same documentation. Same command-line (xxe.exe or xxe-c.bat)
to launch both programs. Same everything in fact...
Simply XMLmind DITA Editor internally has a tiny bit of code which
prevents it from loading configurations other than those related to DITA
editing and publishing.
