Hi Hussein,

Thanks for the illustrated explanation. That was it, the attributes sheet was 
collapsed all the way to the right although I don’t recall doing that 
explicitly. So when I clicked the triangle at the top, nothing happened. I had 
to manually drag the left edge of the sheet out to expand it.

Please drag to the left the handle shown in red in attached screenshot.

If this does not work (which would be a bug), please delete your user
preferences file then restart XMLMind DITA Editor. Your user preferences
file is something like:

C:\Users\don\AppData\Roaming\XMLmind\XMLEditor8\preferences.properties

PS: If, in the future, you want to collapse/expand all the tools found
at the right side of the main window, simply click the triangle (shown
in green) found at the top of the handle.
