Hi all,

I use SVG images in Docbook 5 by virtue of
figure/mediaobject/imageobject/imagedata/@fileref. XmlMind allows for
choosing images by double clicking. Choosing an image subsequently sets
the @fileref attribute.

I'm looking for:

1. A way to open images and videos from within XmlMind in a third party
editing applications like inkscape by i.e. holding the shift button when
clicking on it. Currently this requires to locate the very same image or
video in a drill down fashion a second time using the 3-rd party
application's file chooser.

2. A simple way to trigger reloading an image (manually?) after being
altered by an external application. Currently Xmlmind will not discover
file system changes to reload stale views.

The first item probably requires a configurable binding of image types
to editor command(s).

Just another related wish: Showing a preview image for <video> elements
rather then just a standard video icon would help a lot distinguishing
assets visually.
