Any idea about the issue?

Not really.

This issue is almost certainly specific to your working environment: several XMLmind XML Editor installations, duplicate add-ons installed in your <XXE_user_preferences_dir>/addon/, custom XML catalogs installed somewhere, custom resolver.jar installed somewhere, etc.

To be 100% sure, I need to take a look at your working environment.

This can be done using the "Copy" button of the "Help|About" dialog box. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/helpMenu.html#aboutAction

--> The cure is for this kind of issue quite is simple:

1) Delete *all* XMLmind XML Editor copies you have.

2) *Completely* delete your <XXE_user_preferences_dir> folder which is:

$HOME/Library/Application Support/XMLmind/XMLEditor7/

on the Mac.

3) Re-install latest version of XMLmind XML Editor.

Wrong path resolution with xxe-config: ?

Yes.

This URI prefix "xxe-config:" is in principle defined in "/Applications/XMLmind.app/Contents/Resources/xxe/addon/config/catalog.xml".
