Advice on how to go farther with diagnostics would be appreciated! let

Difficult to help you without the source of the document causing these FOP messages.

Just two ideas:

1) If the PDF looks good, please forget the messages reported by FOP.
2) Admonition icons (e.g. Note, Remember, Tip, etc, icons) are SVG graphics.
