It is not possible (and it does not make sense to) to evaluate an
XMLmind XML Editor version which are more than 6 months old. XMLmind XML
Editor v5.5 was released on January 21, 2013, which was 8 months ago.
So I failed saving the new version instead
of the old (5.5). And so on. The result was: the first version didn't
run anymore because: MY EVALUATION PERIOD HAS EXPIRED. Please help me to
get 30 days of testing your xml-mind-software.
Please follow this procedure:
[1] Uninstall XMLmind XML Editor as you would do it for any other
Windows software. For example, using the Windows Control Panel or by
selecting item "Uninstall" from the "XMLmind XML Editor" group in the
Start menu.
[2] Download xxe-eval-5_7_0-setup.exe from this page:
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/download.shtml
[3] Install xxe-eval-5_7_0-setup.exe by double-clicking on this file, as
you would do it for any other Windows software.
After doing this, your evaluation period will be automatically reset to
30 days (because XMLmind XML Editor will detect that you have upgraded
from version 5.5 to version 5.7).
By the way: how may I switch the language from english to german?
Please follow this procedure:
[1] After installing XMLmind XML Editor v5.7, start it.
[2] Select menu item "Options|Install Add-ons".
[3] In the dialog box, check the two following add-ons:
* German (Deutsch) translation
* German (Deutsch) dictionary
[4] Restart XMLmind XML Editor as instructed.
If your Windows locale is German, then you'll automatically see XMLmind
XML Editor user interface in German.
If your Windows locale is *not* German (e.g. "English US"), use menu
item "Options|Preferences". Select the "General" section. Select
"German" from the "Locale" combobox and finally restart XMLmind XML
Editor. More information here:
