So this is a quick list of enhancements:

1) Index marks. Would be great to have them migrated to <indexterm> in
DocBook.

This is clearly an omission. This omission will be almost certainly fixed in a future release.

2) Page Breaks: there is an empty element in DocBook designed just for
that: <beginpage/> it is nice in some situation to get that information
back.

We do no plan to translate page breaks because we don't think it makes sense to do so in the context of a structured document. Let me explain my point:

* Page breaks manually inserted at the beginning of chapters and sections have an automatic counterpart in the DocBook XSL stylesheets.

* Other manually inserted page breaks change the pagination otherwise automatically created by MS-Word. The pagination automatically created the DocBook XSL stylesheets being totally different from MS-Word's, translating these page breaks to <beginpage/> would give a inconsistent result.

Please tell me if this is something you planned

No, at least not for the next release. (Of course, unless you are willing to sponsor a feature. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/customization_service.html )

or if that can be customized on our side.

This is clearly technically possible, as our "Paste From Word" feature is highly customizable and extensible. Unfortunately, there is currently no documentation whatsoever explaining how to do this.
