Use Intel based RedHat linux 9, and have recently upgraded linux kernel
2.4.20-8 to kernel 2.4.20-18.9 via RHN.
When rebooting on the new kernel, the Xserver does not open.
I am running on a PCI graphics card from nVidia model TNT2 64M which worked
perfectly with the old kernel (and still does, although some applications
now refuse to open - a different problem with the same cause).
Have searched for this bug on bugzilla with no luck, if I missed it, my
apologies to the irrate engineer!
