Hello. I just downloaded and installed linux red hat 8.0.
It can't start the X server. I have tried running XF86config and I've also downloaded the last version of xfree86 (4.2.1) Still i have the same problems. This is happening at startup: * The screen turns black for a second (4 times) * Then it tells med that it "cannot start the X server". It's not able to set it up for me either... I have a LG99 monitor and a ATI Radeon 8500 graphical card. The log from /var/log is attached... Hope you can help me! -- Rikard B�
