Hi, when I input startx I get an error saying no screens found. I have a Samsung SyncMaster 750s connected toa Diamond V770 Ultra video card with an nVidia TNT2 Ultra chip and 32MB of video RAM. I am trying to run X in Debian GNU/Linux 3.0r1 with XFree86 4.1.0. I have ran xf86config and xf86cfg without any success in configuring the XF86Config file, so I exported a config file generated in the same machine but with Mandrake GNU/Linux 9.0 running 4.3.0 and replaced it in Debian. It got closer to working but it didn't quite do it.

Any help I could get would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy
