I tend to agree with you, gymka.
There is conflict of interest here (reputation).
One can subscribe themselves (he or she) as a coordinator in various
of the dominant projects (e.g. GNOME, KDE, LXDE, Xfce) and put their
name in their curriculum vitae (CV) as:
Coordinator: "look! I know English really really good! so good that I
am a coordinator!!!"
Employer: -_- "really!?, wooooow" -_-
and in the rest of the time they will do nothing of a significant
substance, while others will do the rest and most of the work.
