Hi list,

I'm recently doing some translations (en -> zh_CN)
for Debian, then wondered that if contributing translation
to GNU differs from contributing to Debian.

So I have some questions:
1. For Debian, I can just pull the *.po file from the trunk branch
on anonscm.debian.org. Then generate a patch after modifying,
and just send it to sub...@bugs.debian.org, opening a new bug.
Of course this is sort of debian's style.
I wonder if I can do the same thing to sub...@debbugs.gnu.org,
   when updating a translation?
2. Apart from ftp://alpha.gnu.org, where can I found the 'trunk
version' of a gnu software (i.e. newer than alpha). I didn't
   find it.
3. I'm just a STUDENT and a normal debian user, but seems that
GNU is strict on translation quality, any advise about
   contributing translations?

__Please__ CC me when reply.
Thanks :)
