+<p>Viele Befürworter freier Software stoÃen auf Schwierigkeiten, wenn sie im
+Gespräch mit Administratoren von Bildungseinrichtungen über die Vorteile der
+Nutzung und Lehre freier Software sprechen. Oft haben Schulleitungen noch
+nie von Freie Software ‑ nur von Open
+Source ‑ gehört, also werfen sie viele Zweifel auf. Wir
+haben einige der am häufigsten gestellten Fragen und bestmöglichen Antworten
+zusammengestellt, um Ungewissheiten zu beseitigen.</p>

+ <dt>Als Lehrkraft habe ich mich sehr angestrengt, der
Schulleitung die Vorteile
+zu erklären, die Open-Source-Software unserer Schule bringen
+kann ‑ aber sie schienen nicht interessiert zu sein. </dt>

+ <p>Open Source bezieht sich nur auf die
technischen Vorteile der
+Software. Schulen sind möglicherweise nicht an diesem Aspekt interessiert,
+da technische Anforderungen wahrscheinlich durch bereits genutzte
+proprietäre Software erfüllt werden. Sie müssen mit ihnen im Hinblick auf
+Freie Software sprechen, nicht Open Source, damit philosophische und
+ethische Gründe dargelegt werden, warum Bildungseinrichtungen proprietäre
+Software zurückweisen sollten.</p>

+ <dt>Ich würde gerne alle Schulen auf Freie Software
migrieren sehen, aber denke,
+es ist hoffnungslos. Proprietäre Softwareunternehmen haben zu viel
+Macht ‑ sogar über Schulen. Die Situation ist
entmutigend.</dt>

+ <p>Zwar trifft es zu, dass es proprietären
Softwareunternehmen gelungen ist,
+ihre Produkte mithilfe von Schulen als Propagandamittel der Gesellschaft
+aufzuerlegen, es ist auch zutreffend, dass viele Schulen weltweit Freie

starteten, war die Lage für uns sehr
+entmutigend. Wir begannen bei Null. Heute nutzen Millionen von Menschen auf
+der ganzen Welt Freie Software.</p>

möchte unseren Schülern die
+Nutzung und Administration einer freien Plattform lehren, aber muss dem vom
+Bildungsministerium eingeführten Lehrplan entsprechen, wonach der Unterricht
+von proprietären Plattformen und Programmen vorgesehen ist. </dt>

+ <p>Wenn man buchstäblich gezwungen ist unfreie Software zu unterrichten,
+sollten Sie den Schülern erklären, dass Sie diese Software für unethisch
+halten und nur unterrichten, weil dies vom Lehrplan vorgesehen ist und so
+wenig wie möglich davon unterrichten werden, damit Sie sich auf Basis freier
+(die Freiheit respektierende) Software bewegen können.</p>
+
+ <p>Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, dass Schulen einen groÃen Einfluss auf die
+Gesellschaft haben, also unsere Schüler/innen auf die Vorteile freier
+Software aufmerksam zu machen eine Möglichkeit ist, Druck auf
+Entscheidungsträger auszuüben. Sie können beginnen, indem Sie Ihren
Schülern
+über Freie Software und deren ethischen Werte erzählen, da sie
+wahrscheinlich noch nie davon gehört haben. Mit Ihrer Zustimmung und
+Unterstützung kann dies zur Bildung einer <em>Freie-Software-AG</em> an
+Ihrer Schule führen. Dann kann die AG mit Briefen an das Ministerium ihre
+Stimme erheben, Veranstaltungen zu Freie Software organisieren und andere
+ähnliche Aktionen fördern.</p>

+ <p>Wenn Rechnernutzer anfangen ihre Rechte
einzufordern, müssen Regierungen
+ihre Gesetze dementsprechend erlassen. Deshalb sind politisches und soziales
+Bewusstsein grundlegende Aspekte, die nicht auÃer acht gelassen werden
+können, wenn es um Freie Software geht.</p>
