So perhaps you need to pull the source for something later than 2.6.1
release??

The Windows version I am running successfully has this build tag,

WSJT-X v2.6.1 848a38-dirty

if that is at all helpful.

Mike never mentioned exactly what the cause / fix was but I suspect
Hamlib changed and WSJT-X needed to adapt.

I have not tried any Linux version since having this problem, which is
very unlike me, but the station computer is currently configured with
Windows10 for some other reasons and so it goes ...
