Hi, Wormux is great game. I just compiled 0.8.2 and I give some feedback:
(Compiled with ubuntu 8.04 and gcc 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7))

I put all things in same mail, because there are so silent in mail list.

CrashBug:
I start wormux. Start game. Ok. Game starts.
I hit ESC and choose configuration menu. Then I make (or not make)
changes. I press 'ok' and game crash. If I choose 'cancel' game
continues.
This happens every time.
Sometimes it says only segmentation fault, sometimes it gives whole traceback.

(First I do not have custom team, then I made one. Crash occurs both situation)
I have original teams in: /usr/local/share/wormux/team/beastie/team.xml
And custom teams ~/.config/wormux/custom_team/aapo/team.xml


Minor bugs:
I have 1680x1050 resolution and map/team selection menu looks funny.
Text 'head commander' and the text field has too much space between
them. (same with 'number of characters')

Options -> Language. There are big list but it can fit on my screen,
but it is very short and has scrollbars.

'P' do not pause the game.


About construct-tool: When orientating the girder, the bottombar
(health/wind/etc) hides and pops visible again. Rotating is not
smooth.


src/weapon/auto_bazooka.cpp:221
"Howto use it : left clic on target\n"
should be 'clic'-> 'click'


Ideas:
-Why max four teams in match?
-Computer AI (even dump in beginnig)
-Generating random maps: in map selection user can select
generateTunnelMap. Then user can choose some parameters (map
resolution) and then he/she gets map. User can rarandom until she
accepts the map. In technical there are static sky.jpg and
particle.png, but map.png are generated randomly. (with some
tunnel-algorithm). In map selection there are also generateLetterMap
wich uses some another algorithm.
