this mail is specifically for gentildemon, but I wanted to also make it
public.

I've modified the index server and wormux to handle a somewhat local
(should rather be one hand-picked instead) index server. A remaining
task that we discussed was:
make part of the network game registration the port open status check.

ie, when a network game server tries to register its game on the index
server, this index server checks that the corresponding port is really
available. If it is open, the game is registered, otherwise it isn't and
the user is warned about this.

I know the index server code tests the port, but I'm not sure if this
integrated on the game server part.

Therefore, I'm asking what should be done to finish that part.
