This commit broke wormux, causing it to segfault every time here. The
cause is a combination of my rewriting RCL's original version and the
fact that some samples don't have a file. It seems to be fine with SDL
functions to use NULL samples, though.

Fixed by r4033.

yekcim, did you test before committing? If not, please try next time.

Not a big deal though: I should certainly not cast the first stone on
such issues...

I'm not sure if you are using a modified tree, but considering that the
crash will almost always happen, I suspect you are. Either that or some
different, unrelated, occurrence didn't make your version crash like
mine during your tests.

Could you please submit a patch next time that is against a clean trunk?
