Ok, that's sounds great ;-)
Again, is there any volunteer to look for Public domain sounds, to 
listen sounds for other GPL games, ... ?

We probably do not understand ourselves. I don't see the difference 
between what you suggest and what I suggest.
I suggest branching the trunk one month before the release. I think 2 
weeks is not enough for all translators and packagers to do their jobs.
