Hi all, After a little discussion on the irc channel of wormux (well ... french irc channel), yeKcim, gentildemon and me decide to do something about the current 0.8 version. The basic idea is to release something quickly even if it's not 100% finish even with a broken network.
First, i have commited a little modification into trunk. Now, by default, network menu is deactivated. To reenable it just fire your best editor (vi for example), and replace this line : <enable_network>0</enable_network> by : <enable_network>1</enable_network> And tada ! Network menu is back. Well, just to told you that we don't have enought time to write a wonderfull network version of wormux but it's sade to see all the work being done into since 0.7 version but unavailable for no one. So the basic idea is : bring a new version of wormux without network and name it 0.7.9. People will be happy with new weapon, new skin management and a big bunch of bug fixe. And guess what then can even get it for Xmast (Hum beta first ... final maybe in january ...) ! Any feedback is welcome.
