No, is not needed. > "Not stable enought": If we stay at "beta" point, Debian will not accept 0.8 > package. Definetly. And the same will go for a stable 0.8 version since Debian is now in a soft freeze. > It's easy to produce a new version. Just take 0.7.4, apply patches, and > release new tarball.. The problems we encountered were fixed in the 0.7.4-2 and 0.7.4-3 packages via patches over the 0.7.4 source. If you know of any *bugs* that should be fixed because they are present in 0.7.4(-3), then it _could_ make sense to have a 0.7.5 release. Currently I see absolutely no reason to release 0.7.5, except, maybe, if you want to incorporate the 3 patches we have in 0.7.4-3 in the "new" 0.7.5 since this shall be the version we will have in the next stable release. - -- Regards, EddyP ============================================= "Imagination is more important than knowledge" A.Einstein -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFdpDGY8Chqv3NRNoRAjb5AKDg6TYq3CWVlXBX1mGu+TkFR19mvACgwW8A v/E3o337DDFxxUGZSfbW1u8= =sWH1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Wormux-dev mailing list Wormux-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wormux-dev
