CMake 2.2.x doesn't work.
Ubuntu Dapper use cmake 2.2.3
We tested it on IRC and found out, that this version doesn't include a module
for detecting pkg-config yet (which is needed to find the correct include-path
and cxxflags for libxml++).
I don't know if every 2.4.x versions are supported, because all testers already
had
version 2.4.3 (the most current one) installed (which is even already included
in Debian Etch).
I'll have a look on the other differences between 2.2 and 2.4 at the weekend
and try
to make it work.
I don't think we need to support Debian Sarge (CMake 2.0.5), because they don't
accept new packages and have a too old version of libsdl-gfx...
Or do you know any other distro we support that only has CMake 2.0.x?
I put wormux on Debian Sarge thanks to backports project. I will need to
port cmake 2.2 on backports.org for Wormux to work :-( but it's true
that cmake 2.0 is very old.
Of course, we don't have to support every old distro but, from what I
know, we have to be able to use cmake 2.2 : Ubuntu Dapper is not that old.
Sorry, but I don't know for non-deb distros. Let's say cmake 2.2.x is
the oldest mandatory version ?
