But it's sure we should have a process for releases... Maybe the following system could be good for us FOR MINOR RELEASES (0.7.x). When someone thinks a release can be done: - identify a revision number and post a mail on this list - write a litlle changelog (can help identify if this revision worth a release) - make a tarball with 'make dist', not a tar 'by hand' - put the tar on gna in a 'tobereleased' dir - wait for 2 or 3 devs men to test it - if 2 or 3 people report the tarball to work, release it (ie put it on gna onto the downloads dir)
Is this right ? Of course, for major releases (0.8, 1.0 and so on, it could be different) Jean -- ________________________________________ / Neige en novembre, Noël en décembre. \ | -+- Raoul, chat de Leonard, par Truk & | \ De Groot -+- / ---------------------------------------- \ ^__^ \ (@@)\_______ (__)\ )\/\ ||----w | || || _______________________________________________ Wormux-dev mailing list Wormux-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wormux-dev
