News between 0.5 beta4 and 0.5.0 : - Draw particle for maps Halloween and Grenouilles which show wind speed - Patch to limit CPU use (max : 50 fps) - A lot of bug fixes News between 0.4 and 0.5 : - Thanks to OpenGL hardware acceleration (Wormux use ClanLib 0.7 instead very old ClanLib 0.6.5) : the game is really faster and nice weapon rotations - Sound theme - New weapon : cluster bomb (and skip turn becomes a weapon) - New maps : Angry Cactus, Arbres, Banquise, Copper, Cowland, Edabua, Japon, Libellule, Rusty Future, Space - New main menu, options menu and dynamic weapon menu - New skins : Pitun, Pink Floyd and Bug Bug - More (and better!) sound effects - It's possible to re-play after shooting with some weapons (eg. gun and teleportation) - It's possible to customize weapons in XML config files - More source code, filenames, and data formats are writtent in english - Physical engine works better (more realistic) - Everything works better :-D Other news from 0.4 to 0.5 : - Use preview for maps (for choosing map) - Support 11, 22 and 44 kHz sound output - Weapons move with character hand - Skins Ver and Wougzy are bigger - Water goes up after some minutes - Limit CPU use (max 50 fps) Bugs : - "#ifdef PORT_CL07" in game/game.cpp :-( - HACKERS.txt TODO.txt ... are not copyed in archive - doc/ subdir miss ... - README is in french !?! - A lot of strings are not translated in french (options menu, "Load game data", ...) ???
