Hi!

I'm able to compile the current cvs with paragui-1.1.8, compiled from
the source available on paragui website. I don't have any problem with
the main screen background!
It may be a paragui bug.. with all the warnings we get when compiling
wormux, it makes me wonder if paragui is really stable :/
With the latest wormux SVN (rev 41), wormux compile with the unstable paragui 1.1.8 but not with the stable 1.0.x branch. 1) I confirm that I have no backgraound in mthe main menu (or a randomly blinking piece) on my system ( debian sarge updated last week). 3) I have also a lot of warnings during compilation - most of them are preprocessing redefintiions - 4) The version of wormux is replaced by the version of the paragui lib like you can see on this previously made screenshot ( that is with paragui 1.1.7 but this is the same with 1.1.8):

Perhaps we should not waiting to switch to paragui 1.0.x branch

it makes me wonder if paragui is really stable :/

Ok I don't know if paragui is stable or not as I have never used it before. But what I am sure is that if they have made 2 branches - a stable one and an unstable one - we can expect for the unstable one to be... unstable.
We can't judge the stability of a project using the unstable branch.
