Thanks for the response on error code (0x80070666). However, is there a way to change the text of the error message? i.e., can I customize it to my custom text to indicate more details about my product?
The current error text message for error 0x80070666 is: "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel" Can I change it to, say, "Can't downgrade product. The newer version of product already exists. Use ARP to uninstall existing product"? It is possible to change this text somehow using .wxl/wml Wix localization files?
