Fair enough. I didn't intend for this to turn into a discussion about open-source development and certainly not a criticism of WiX or the devs. I had merely noticed a spike in UI-customisation requests on the mailing list and I was trying to be helpful by pointing it out and inquiring if there's some reason things are the way they are, and/or if anyone is looking into it.
