Hi, I'm presently working on a multi-package installer with a custom UI, and I'm using WPF. I've got something primitive working that looks something like NSIS's MUI since that's what our old installer used, but I was hoping to move towards something a bit more modern. Sadly however I'm at a loss for examples. The WixBA is attractive, but a bit too simple with no support for selecting optional features, while the Visual Studio Installer is closed source but clearly exercise much more of Burn's functionality. Is there any chance something as complex as the visual studio installer might be opened up as an example to help drive consistent install UX? Alternatively, are there any other installers besides Wix & Visual Studio 2012 that might be good examples to look at?
