Hi Rob, How does the msi of the lower version (already installed) get re-cached when the minor upgrade is run? Should I use the /f with the "v" option for re-caching the local package again? That's the part I want to clarify. Also, the minor upgrade will have the Upgrade table populated, correct?
Thank you so much! I am very much relieved that there is a way to fix my issue. Thanks! Subject: Re: [WiX-users] Custom action bug - can it be fixed in an upgrade? If repair works correctly, you'll need to do a minor upgrade or small update. An .msp is typically how the small update is delivered... but a minor upgrade (ship the whole MSI again) should work fine as well.
