I don't think I've asked this before so here goes.. 1) Why is the Certificate element in the IIS extension/namespace? Certificate Stores don't really have anything to do with IIS.
2) What is the default value for Overwrite? ( In general, I wish the WiX documentation would describe in general the behavior of non-declared / non-required attributes. ) 3) What exactly is the Name attribute for? I just put in "test" and my certificate installed with the usual name as I am accustomed to. 4) How/when would you use Request="Yes" Would the CertifictaePath need to be an http address or something? I'm trying to get a feel for the infrastructure and use case this fulfills.
