I managed to understand the usage of HEAT and i saw the output of that tool is to a wxs file which changes the structure with in. Since i am just starting to use wix, pardon my understanding. As i understand, i have a wxs file and the heat tool also outputs to wxs file. my question is Should i be outputing to the same wxs file that i generate while creating a project or shd it be a diff output file. if it is a diff wxs file how it can be included in to the main .wxs file. Anyways I will be digging for the answers, if someone has quick answers please post it .Thanks again.
